Annah Rais Longhouse
We all went out together today for a drive towards the highlands and towards Annah Rais Longhouse in the foothills of the Borneo Highlands.

We are close to the border of Indonesia again.

We spent the morning wandering along platforms and paths through the village exploring.

After another storm in the afternoon, we headed out to visit Ann's eldest grandson, A, as well as the head of the village, where we signed his visitors' book.

Would have been a very interesting day today.. Glad your heads didn't end up in the collection.
ReplyDeleteit wasn’t at all what I expected. It was much bigger. Basically it was the one main long house but then lots and lots of other houses that we walked around.
ReplyDeleteWe definitely needed our heads today to do the jungle walk to the waterfall, so yes glad we didn’t lose our heads
